Hibiscus Hot Toddy with Apple Pie Midnight Moonshine

Here’s our take on this classic winter cocktail.

1 Part= 1oz= 30ml

4 parts Midnight Moonshine (If moonshine not available where you live, substitute a nice bourbon or brandy)
2 tbs of Wild Hibiscus Syrup
8 parts water
2 Heart Tee Hibiscus tea bags
2 tsp lemon juice
Star anise
2 Wild Hibiscus flowers (for garnish)
Bring water to nearly a boil, turn off heat. Pour water in mugs or heat safe glassware, add a teabag to each and let steep 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and add moonshine, syrup and lemon juice. Garnish and serve.
