1 part = 1 ounce = 25 ml
3 parts fresh (or quality store bought) eggnog
1 part brandy
½ part Wild Hibiscus Syrup
Allspice or Nutmeg
Wild Hibiscus Flower
Combine eggnog with brandy. Add hibiscus syrup to serving glass. Slowly pour in eggnog, slightly tilting the glass so as not to disturb the syrup. Finish drink with generous dusting of allspice or nutmeg, and garnish with hibiscus flower.
Note: For best effect, use a cordial or café glass (one that is narrower at the base). Bartender layering tip: Use the back of a spoon positioned just above, and tilted downward (not touching) the syrup in glass. Slowly pour eggnog over back of the spoon, moving it up as eggnog rises.
